Recipes

Hard start, stall or cam/crank correlation codes on the 3.6 ProMaster: battery first, then live cam/crank data and the phaser solenoid, then the sensor the code points to (mode fm-pm36-sensors)

Coolant loss on the 3.6 ProMaster: pressure-test and check the weep hole, the plastic thermostat housing and the coolant bottle in order, then replace what leaks (mode fm-pm36-cooling-leaks)

The signature Pentastar repair: replace the cracked/weeping plastic adapter-housing with the updated housing (or an aluminum aftermarket unit), new gaskets and o-rings, correct torque

The 'Pentastar tick' path: compression/leak-down first (rule out the pre-ProMaster 2011-2013 head issue and exhaust leaks), then rockers and lash adjusters, cam replacement only where a lobe is damaged
