2026 Ram Ram 3500 Chassis Cab

Reliability tier: verified - see /disclosure/

Engine: 6.7L ISB (2019+ generation) (Cummins, 6.7L)

Applicable failure modes (9)

• CP4 high-pressure fuel pump failure and fuel system contamination (2019-2020 6.7)
• DEF quality / freezing inducements (2019+ 6.7)
• DPF/SCR aftertreatment problems (2019+ 6.7)
• EGR cooler failure (2019+ 6.7)
• Grid heater bolt and relay failures (2019+ 6.7)
• Head gasket failure on tuned 2019+ 6.7
• Common-rail injector wear (2019+ 6.7)
• In-tank lift pump failures (2019+ 6.7)
• VGT turbo electronic actuator failure (HE300VG family)

Applicable parts (2)

• 6.7 Cummins 24-Valve Head Stud Kit, Custom Age 625+ ('98-present application) (ARP)
• DEF refill - fresh API-certified fluid (service item, any 2019+ Ram 6.7L)

Platform recipes (3)

• DEF system repair for 2019+ Ram HD (mode fm-c67hd-def-quality): contaminated/crystallized DEF, failed urea pump modules and doser faults
• Emissions-side repair for the 2019+ Ram HD 6.7 (modes fm-c67hd-egr-cooler / fm-c67hd-dpf-scr-system): soot-clogged EGR valve, coolant-loss EGR cooler, and the aftertreatment pair - the DPF assembly (cab-split PNs) and the SCR converter bolted behind it
• HE300VG VGT turbo repair for 2019+ Ram HD (mode fm-c67hd-vgt-actuator): the vaned nozzle ring sticks from soot/carbon and the actuator loses position control - limp modes, boost codes, whine
