Root cause

The 2019+ 6.7 keeps the electronically actuated VGT (HE300VG family): the actuator's gear position sensor and solenoid wear, vanes carbon in, and boost control walks out of spec - the same actuator-first story as the 2010-2018 trucks.

log desired vs actual boost; exercise the vane position with a scan tool
inspect the actuator linkage and vane lever for carbon; check for audio gear-grind at key-off calibration
