Engine: 6.2L V8 Gas (Boss, SVT tune) (Ford Boss, 6.2L), 2v

SOHC 16-valve V8 (2 valves/cyl, roller rocker shafts), cast-iron block/aluminum heads, sequential multiport fuel injection, TWO spark plugs per cylinder (16 plugs per engine), no cylinder deactivation; SVT calibration 411 hp @ 5,500 / 434 lb-ft @ 4,500 (the Super Duty tune of the same engine is 385/405). MID-YEAR SWITCH: MY2010 Raptor launched with the 310-hp 5.4L 3V Triton; the 6.2L Boss was added as an option LATE in the model year - a MY2010 Raptor with the 6.2L resolves by build date (same rule as the diesel LLY/LMM mid-year switches). The 6.2L became the standard Raptor engine from MY2011.
