2016 Ram ProMaster 3500
Reliability tier: verified - see /disclosure/
Engine: 3.0L EcoDiesel I4 turbodiesel (Ducato Multijet 3.0 family) (Iveco/Sofim F1C-family 3.0L I4, 3.0L)
The Ducato 3.0 Multijet I4 turbodiesel, US-branded EcoDiesel. M40MTA six-speed automated manual (a clutch-and-gearbox robot, not a torque-converter automatic - its behavior is a known complaint topic). Sold MY2014-2016 (some sources extend to 2017 - VIN-verify late units). NOT the VM Motori A630 V6 of the Ram 1500 pickup despite the shared 'EcoDiesel' marketing name.

Platform recipes (3)
- Underboost or limp episodes on the ProMaster EcoDiesel: smoke-test the charge path before condemning the $1,765 turbo (mode fm-pmed-turbo-chargeair)
- The DEF/SCR diagnosis chain on the rare F1C ProMaster diesel: cap and fluid quality first, pump and injector mid-tier, the $3,000 tank last
- Flashing glow lamp or rough cold starts on the ProMaster EcoDiesel (F1C): the lamp names the cylinder - measure plugs before condemning the module (mode fm-pmed-glow-start)
