Bullet Proof Diesel square-style EGR cooler, the community-standard replacement upgrade since 2008: standard version (2004.25-2007 application) and H-Core version ('2004.25 and newer'). Replaces 4C3Z-9P456-AC and successors. MY2004 configurations split at the ~2003-09-22 build date - early-2004 round-style trucks use the round cooler and are excluded (identify the style before ordering, per the OEM record's note). Purpose: The 6.0 EGR cooler is the documented weak link (multiple replacements in 100k miles per the manufacturer); the BPD cooler is the upgrade tier over OEM-style replacement (see 6.0L Power Stroke EGR Cooler, OEM-style replacement).
