Engine: 7.3L V8 Gas (Godzilla) (Ford Godzilla, 7.3L), 2v

OHV 2-valve V8, cast-iron block/aluminum heads, sequential multiport fuel injection (no DI, no HPFP), VCT, no cylinder deactivation; 10.5:1 compression; 430hp @ 5,500 and 485 lb-ft @ 4,000 lb-ft in the pickup lines; TorqShift 10-speed (10R140) behind this engine (context only - engine platform). The 2023 SD refresh made the 6.8L (same Godzilla family, short-stroke) the standard gas engine; the 7.3 remains the optional gas engine on the pickup and chassis-cab lines.
