Engine: 6.8L V8 Gas (Godzilla short-stroke) (Ford Godzilla, 6.8L), 2v
Short-stroke member of the Godzilla family: same 107.2mm bore, 93.5mm stroke (7.3: 101.0mm), 10.8:1 compression, same OHV 16v PFI architecture - introduced with the 2023 SD refresh as the standard gas engine replacing the 6.2L Boss; flex-fuel capable from 2024; 405hp @ 5,000 / 445 lb-ft @ 4,000; TorqShift 10-speed behind it (context only). The 7.3L remains optional - both engines are carried by this platform as separate configs (-68 / -73).
