Ignition Coil, COP - 3V engines (Motorcraft DG-511)

Coil-on-plug ignition for the 3V (SOHC 3-valve) engines: 5.4L 3V (F-150 2004-2008, Super Duty 2005-2007, Expedition/Navigator 2005-2008) and 6.8L 3V (F-250-F-550 2005-2007); the updated-boot design. 2V engines take DG-508 - see Ignition Coil, COP - 2V engines (Motorcraft DG-508). Misfire diagnosis on these trucks has dedicated Ford COP diagnostic bulletins (TSB 03144 / 031404 / 041601 - WDS COP kit diagnostic tips): check for cracked boots and carbon tracking before condemning coils, and replace the boot with the coil where supplied separately. DG-513 is a 3.0L car part - not applicable despite the close number.
