Factory cold-side charge pipe (molded plastic, prone to fatigue cracking at the bellows and end fittings) is the documented weak point of Intercooler condensation ingestion + cold-side charge-pipe fatigue; the Banks system replaces the plastic tube with mandrel-bent 3.5-inch steel and reusable couplings.
