Install order
- locate the leak cold; find the broken/stretched bolt before ordering
- extract the failed hardware; chase the threads in the head
- fresh gasket (year window) + single-use bolts; renew the manifold only if cracked
- torque in sequence cold; re-check after the first heat cycle
Expected outcome
No cold-start tick, no flange soot, no exhaust smell.
Do not
- never reinstall stretched manifold bolts - they break again inside the head
- do not mix gasket/manifold year windows
