NEW 2026-09-16: from this production run on, Ford unified the Pickup (Wide Frame) and Chassis Cab (Narrow Frame) EGR valve chains into one PN, HC3Z-9D475-D - matching the pattern already documented on this platform for the CP4 pump/water pumps/EGR cooler (mostly pickup=CC shared), except the EGR valve was body-style-specific for gen2's first years (2015 to mid-2016) before this unification. Superseding chain: HC3Z-9D475-A/CX-2540 -> HC3Z-9D475-D (current). Fitment window bounded on both ends by explicit catalog checks, not inferred: confirmed to FIT a 2019 F-250 (pickup) and a 2019 F-550 (Chassis Cab), confirmed to NOT fit a 2015 F-550 (predates this PN's 2017 production start) and to NOT fit a 2021 F-250 (postdates it - gen3 hardware from 2020 uses a different, not-yet-found EGR valve PN). The catalog's own '2017-2025' year badge on this PN is broader than the confirmed fitment window - explicitly does NOT fit a 2021 F-250, so a further gen3 (2020+) EGR valve PN exists and was not found as of 2026-09-16; fitment here is capped at 2019 (end of gen2) rather than trusting the badge.
