REQUIRES fire-ring machining: it is the direct replacement for the gasket supplied with Fleece's Freedom Series cylinder head, and their machining/installation instructions must be followed with any other head. Purpose: The performance-tier sealing answer for tuned/overheated 6.7 engines (see the failure-mode record); not a like-for-like OEM gasket swap.
