verified Upgrade option · manufacturer fitment Aftermarket MPNBanks Power 42809

Fitment per Banks Power fitment file (received 2026-09-30; Billy deltas applied 2026-10-24): all Ram 6.7L models 2007-2024, pickup 2500/3500 and chassis cab 3500/4500/5500 alike - the kit installs into a Banks Monster-Ram intake, which is required. 2007 refs for Ram 4500/5500 are unmapped (model line debuted 2008). Why this is listed as an upgrade

Adds a 750W or 1500W coil heater to a Banks Monster-Ram intake as a cold-start upgrade; Banks states its coil heaters are 'designed to fail safely, avoiding catastrophic engine damage', in contrast to the failure-prone factory grid heater. Requires a Monster-Ram intake installed. Manufacturer claim, quoted - not tiered as a verified fact.

Fitment facts come from the manufacturer's dated fitment file. Performance and flow claims are quoted from the manufacturer and are not tiered as verified facts - see /disclosure/.
