Symptoms

Compare with the other causes of the same sign on this engine: def, dpf and regeneration warnings (3 causes)

Root cause

NOx sensors age with heat cycles and soot exposure; a drifting sensor skews the SCR closed loop and triggers DEF/SCR warnings. Inlet and outlet sensors are different parts with different PN chains.
